LOW PROFILE CABLE COVERS IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

DO NOT use Low Profile Cable Covers or deploy cords and cables at or near the top of stairs, near windows, balconies or where there is the potential to cause harm in the event of a trip or stumble.

DO NOT use Low Profile Cable Covers as a permenant solution for cord and cable management. Low Profile Cable Covers are designed as a temporary Cable Management solution only.

DO ensure that your Low Profile Cable Cover is correctly deployed and does not create a trip hazard in itself. The Low Profile CableMate Cable Cover for Carpet should lay completely flat with the hook fastener on the underside fully engaged with your carpet. The Low Profile DropOver and Floor Adaptor should lay completely flat. If in any doubt, use double sided tape on the underside to secure it in position.

DO regularly inspect your Low Profile Cable Cover for any signs of wear or damage and DO NOT use a Low Profile Cable Cover that is damaged in any way.

ALWAYS try and find a way to remove the cord or cable as a trip hazard before simply covering it up. 

BEWARE OF UNAUTHORISED DISTRIBUTORS/ RESELLERS

The Low Profile Cable Management System is only available through authorised distributors/ resellers and buyers should beware of purchasing Low Profile branded products from unauthorised businesses. Purchasing Low Profile branded products through unauthorised channels may void any manufacturer warranties and there is no guarantee that you're in fact buying a genuine Low Profile product. Some other things to consider before you buy from unauthorised resellers;

• Is it Brand New?

Even though it may never have been opened or used what you may be purchasing could be a second hand product without any manufacturers warranty because it's being sold by a third party outside our authorised distribution channels.

• Is it a Clearance item being sold at full RRP?

We're quick to respond to customer demand and often make changes or improvements to our range. Once changes or improvements are implimented, any superceded items are put on clearance. While still fit for purpose, our clearance items are never sold to distributors or resellers and are only ever available through the clearance section of our website at discounted prices.

• Is it a Genuine Low Profile product?

All Low Profile products carry a Trademark label on them. Some of our older style CableMate Cable Covers (now on clearance) have a large Low Profile label sewn on the face while our newer style has a small Low Profile label discretely sewn into the underside. The absence of either of these labels will indicate that the product you have purchased is either a counterfeit or has been modified. Once a Low Profile branded product has been modified, it's automatically deemed second hand.
